Motorcycle USA got a chance to test ride the new 2009 Yamaha YZ125 and YZ250, the last of the Japanese 2-stroke motocross bikes. Check out the video and then read the full review at www.motorcycle-usa.com
You can still buy 2 stroke dirt bikes in canada and brazil, Yamaha is the only company that still produces them
If you ride the bike more than a day your going to find out where the power really comes out so its not that unpredictable its not like the powerband comes at different rpms everytime
would a YZ125 be good for a 13 year old to ride or should it be something smaller?
@xELiTE1337PROx i was 12 when i bought my first mx an yz 125 00-, was a bit to big for me in the beginning but then i learned how to ride properly and then i was really happy i didnt buy a smaller one. small ones r fun for a limited while, a 125 will last very long. its worth it!

@xELiTE1337PROx I had a 125 when i was 13. At first it was a little big, but was a good bike to grow into a 80 is just too cramped and just is plain cheap feeling compared to a 125. If not racing a kx100 would be perfect but would only be happy with it for about a year or so
4 strokes are for pussies…real men crave brutal unpredictable power. thats what makes motox bikes fun.
hey guys, any advice? I was just wondering if i should get a 125. My yz 85 recently broke down and is going to cost 1000 dollars to fix. I have been riding for about a year and i am good on the 85. do you think that i should go with the 125?

@huntingfan16 kawasaki dropped 125 and bigger 2 strokes in 2004 but every japanes company still makes 85 2 strokes except honda
i need help i have a 1996 yz 125 but i want to start racing but here in my shit country they doesnt sell new two strokes the problem is that i want to race in the 250f class and i want another 125 2 stroke but a 2009 to race so do you now if i can buy one yz 125 09 in united states and bring it to my country or if a 2006 yz 125 would be a good bike bike to race PLEASE HELP ME i dont want to ride a 250f I am two stroke raider for life

do not worry. yamaha yz 125 the 09 is the best option of all.
are fast and the engine light is small but very powerful .. and is better for you.
and its damping is better than the kawasaki …
I have a 250 too and is heavier and less control .. I recommend the 09 yz 125cc 125cc I bought a yz 09 and I love it: D is extreme like my girlfriend. and I like more than the other motorcycle. is the best … I do not know …

it is Yamaha that is still shipping them to the usa
you can get a new RM and KX in the uk and many other country’s and KX still ships up to the kx100 to the usa
